WELCOME Franklin Folks! 

Energize Franklin is a grassroots group working to help our City residents and government make sustainability and climate change actions easier to do in our busy lives.

This website is a resource to help you take impactful action in response to the climate emergency, find relevant events and vendors in Franklin and beyond, and build community ties that will strengthen our collective climate response.

Ready to join right now? Just click the green button in the top right corner of your screen!

You can:

1. Learn about actions you can take to address the climate crisis under the “Actions” tab.

Share what you've done by clicking on the "Done" button on the actions you have already taken, and see the impact through our peer-reviewed carbon calculator.

Create a To Do list by clicking the "To Do" buttons on the actions you are interested in.

2. Be counted toward our collective community goals.

Check your personal impact "score" on your profile, found under the green button with your name.

You can even work together to complete group goals! Message us on our contacts page to set up a team for your friends, school group, or even church.

3. Read reviews from Franklin residents in the “testimonials” section under the “Actions” tab.

Share testimonials on the “testimonials” section under the “Actions” tab.

Get in contact with local vendors in the “service providers” section under the “Actions” tab.

4. Learn about upcoming events or view recordings of past virtual events under the “events” tab.

Check out our website! You can see all of our content as a guest.

However, if you wish to:

• contribute your actions to our community goals
• track your personalized list of actions and carbon impacts
• contribute a testimonial

Then you will need to sign in or join! To do this, you can do one of the following things:

1. Click on the green button at the top right of the screen
2. Choose to join via one of the following methods:
• using your email address
• using your email address and password
• using your Google account
• using your Facebook account
3. Once you’ve joined, you can get started tracking your actions! Scroll through the Actions page and take a look at the different actions presented. 
• If you’ve already completed an action, like changing to LED lighting, you can click the “Done” button and it will be added to your personal tally. The carbon saved by that action will also be added to the community tally and be reflected in our Goals Tracker on the home page. 
• If you see an action you haven’t completed yet, but would like to, you can click the “To Do” button to save it to your to do list. 
4. If you have experience with one of the Actions and would like to share with our fellow community members, you can leave a testimonial. Just click on the Actions tab at the top right of the screen and select “Testimonials” to visit the Testimonials page. There you can read Testimonials others have left, or leave one yourself by clicking the red “Add Testimonial” button on the top right.
