Join 350 Mass Franklin Node
Summary: Join the 350 Mass Greater Franklin Node to participate in local climate actions and in actions around the state of Massachusetts
Description
350 Mass is an initiative connecting and organizing a strong grassroots coalition to address climate change and build a better future beyond fossil fuels. The “350” in their name comes from 350 parts per million, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere considered safe by Dr. James Hansen, formerly of NASA, and other climate scientists. Find out more here.
Organizers meet in "Nodes," and the Franklin area has an active node which meets on the first and third Thursday of each month.
